Introduction

I’ve been using Axure for many years, and I’m constantly encountering various questions from novices. I feel that it’s not easy for novices to grow up, so I wrote some tutorials for your reference, hoping to give you some help. Recalling the questions asked by friends, I found that most of them are caused by unfamiliarity with features, not because of how difficult the software is to use, so let’s start with the details of some features that are often overlooked. Describe the feature of each component. As for some very basic ones, such as how to add widgets, these completely basic feature will not be repeated.

When it comes to components, we have to start with the “Box”(Rectangle). After all, it is a very common component, but it is always overlooked with more details.

1. Box style properties

There are many Box style attributes. Almost all the features in the style panel can be used. It feels the same as the “table” in word. The attributes commonly used may be “Fill, border”. The filling / border color, border thickness and border line type of rectangular can be changed. It is worth noting that the filling color can be adjusted to be translucent (don’t tell me you don’t need to do translucent masking).

Another thing to remind is that if a box (in fact, any part is the same) is to do a certain interaction, then this part should be named, only by naming we can find this part accurately, and can avoid a lot of kinds of mistakes and confusion.

2. Shape of Box

The shape of the box? Isn’t a box a box? Author are you crazy?

The author is not crazy, the box part does have different shapes, right click the box — Select Shape, you will see 34 different shapes, including ellipse) Adjust the size and it will become a circle), and more complex graphics can be made through the combination of various shapes.

3. Box style:

As you can see in the previous screenshot, the box component can have 6 styles. In addition to the default style, there are also mouseOver, mouseDown, Selected, Disabled, Focused and Error styles. We can set the corresponding styles for the different states of the box. Styles are used for visual distinction, which can simply enrich the effect of the prototype.

At this point, I have to remind you that this menu is often ignored. The above effects have been simply made in the prototype of the attachment. You can follow the prompts to check.

4. the interaction the box

There are 3 types of interactive events, mouse, keyboard and shape, as shown in the above image. You can add as needed.

Well, that’s what I want to say today. This widget is relatively simple, mainly because I hope everyone knows the third point. In fact, after each widget is dragged out, you can right-click to try it, and you will find many Useful little feature. The third point above are also made in the attachment, you can download it and take a look.

If you have any questions and suggestions, please leave a message.
